Khalsa Rasoyee is a family run business based in Surrey, BC, Canada.
Our matriarch, Mohinder Kaur has been perfecting her craft for over 60 years and is constantly focused on innovation and quality. Growing up in Mithapur, Punjab, she developed her passion for cooking early on in life. Her background includes being a head chef in an Italian/Greek Restaurant and decades of experience in Gurdwara langars both in Surrey and Prince George, BC.
Charanjit Singh, our patriarch, came to Canada from Rurka Kalan, Punjab in 1969. He first arrived in Lake Cowichan, BC where he married Mohinder Kaur and then moved to Prince George, BC. He was employed in the sawmill industry and heavily involved in the local gurdwara management and community.
After retiring and moving to Surrey, they started Khalsa Rasoyee 15 years ago. First, as a home-based business and then in the current location since 2017. Today, it is run as a family run operation with their children, grandchildren and extended family involved in daily operations.
